God is watching . . .

Psalms 121:7-8
The LORD will keep you from ALL HARM. He will WATCH over YOUR LIFE. The LORD will WATCH over your COMING and GOING both NOW and FOREVERMORE.
There are times when things are not going the way we want to be. The days when we are afraid about what lies ahead. In those trying times, where do we put our trust?
I found more than gold in Saudi Arabia, I found God and His unfailing words in the Bible. Psalms 121:7 verse says, “The LORD will keep you from ALL HARM, HE will WATCH over YOUR LIFE”.
Being an OFW and being away from my family is never easy. I used to be at the comfort of my home and every time I got sick, I know that someone in the house will take care of me because I know that the people around me knows my needs and will always be there to take care of me, to protect me since they’re my family.
I’ve been working for almost 2 years here in Jeddah, KSA and I also felt that so called “home-sick” experience. But I’m thankful that I never give up nor I lose courage. I’m grateful that my parents taught me to become God-fearing and I take this on my journey.
John 16:33 says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world”.
It is only with God, we can find peace. No matter how many difficulties we are facing, we just need to put our trust in Him knowing that He has overcome the world and through Him we can have the victory over the cares of this world. I do not know what lies ahead, only God knows. But the word of God never fails so I believe that whatever happens He will keep me from ALL HARM and He will WATCH over MY LIFE. I realized that I do not own my life and God is giving me His words to guide my path and to keep me from all harm. Knowing that He is watching over my life leads me to acknowledging everything that He has done for me and every tick of time tells me that what I’m doing right now is my gift to God. I realized that I have wasted so many times and there are so many gifts that I take for granted, gifts that He gave me but I was not able to use it for His glory. I become so self-centered, so concerned about my being not knowing that there are people out there who are slowly dying from the snares of this world.
Who would have thought that in the desert, I will find great treasure? I’m living in the desert land of Jeddah, right in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a place where death is the reward to profess your Christian faith, where Bibles must be hidden and gatherings should be kept in secret. Yet in this desert place I got a thirst to know His word, I was so thirsty to know Him more and more and I found that His words and His great love became water and a fountain of life to keep me going. He became the reason of my being. His love and His faithfulness surpasses all knowledge and understanding. God is in control of my life and as the time of my clock ticks, I know God is watching. God sees, God cares, God knows our hearts.
Be this verse a reminder for us,
“Psalms 121:8 The LORD will WATCH over your COMING and GOING both NOW and FOREVERMORE”.
Enjoy being under God’s love as He watch over you .
